Packing for the trip
Bring a waterproof dry bag for your electronics. The speedboat ride gets wet, and life jackets are mandatory. Pack reef-safe biodegradable sunscreen, as regular chemicals harm the coral. Bring a hat with a chin strap so it does not blow away on the boat.
Take motion sickness medication if you are prone to seasickness. Bring cash (USD or DOP) for tips, extra drinks, and souvenirs. Operators rarely provide beach towels, so pack your own.
